Some of the cars featured are from The Petersen and Nethercutt Museum. These cars were restored decades ago but were serviced, and prepared for shows by us. Additionally, there are cars from local customers as well as our family's personal restoration projects.

Work done: Unpickle car, check all fluids, inspect chassis, prime engine, test run engine, run marvel mystery oil with motor oil to free sticking valve sleeve noise, remove lights and radiator, remove shutter assembly , inspect and reseal water pump, remove and clean oil filter , test radiator flow, flush engine cooling system, reassemble, test run, and drive in the streets of Sylmar.

V12 Sleeve Valve Engine

Removed carburetor and air cleaner to remove frame rail splash pan.

1931 Daimler Double Six 50 Royal Limousine

Work done: Disassembly and documentation, plumb air lines, fuel lines, and oil lines, build mock up exhaust pipe and fit all pieces, silver solder hardware, and interior components,make custom brackets, machine spacers plugs and woodruff keys

This car was restored by the Nethercutt Collection restoration team from 2016 to 2017. I had the honor of being a part of the team for the summer of 2016 and 2017. The work shown only includes what I did and I am not taking credit for the rest of the restoration.

1906 Pope Toledo Type XII

Work done: Unpickle car, paint radiator, install radiator, fix shutter linkage, troubleshoot start and run issues, reinstall distributor, resynchronize points, coils, make new ignition wire, clean and synchronize carburetors, adjust timing, drive car.

This car was hidden away in the depths of the vault and unadvertised at this point. I never even knew the museum had this car until I was assigned to work on it.

Flywheel Cover

Work done: Unpickle car, paint radiator, install radiator, fix shutter linkage, troubleshoot start and run issues, reinstall distributor, resynchronize points, coils, make new ignition wire, clean and synchronize carburetors, adjust timing, drive car.
1933 Duesenberg SJ Murphy

Work done: diagnose start and run issues, clean and adjust points, adjust timing, tune carbs, test drive car.

Removed the distributor in order to fix the no spark issue. new points, condensers were installed and adjusted.

1929 Ford "Neikamp Roadster"

Work done: Pinstripe hood, headlights, wheels, splash pan, belt line, install windshield washer bottle, install and wire siren, find and fix parasitic battery drain, install new alternator, new fuel tank and lines, new vacuum advance, adjust timing, adjust points, tune carburetor, install lowering springs.

1947 Fleetmaster Coupe

This project started out with a poorly running engine due to two wiped cam lobes and a transmission that kept popping out of 2nd. Work summary: We diagnosed the engine problems, made a plan, removed the engine and transmission, detailed the engine bay, sent out the long block and trans to be rebuilt, verified long block specs, assembled, sealed and painted the engine, new clutch ,rebuilt carburetor, broke it all in,properly fixed and plumbed the fuel system added safety measures.

Work Done: rebuild 350 engine with a mild cam, rebuild brake system and plumb brake lines, shave firewall, rebuild front and rear suspension, paint firewall and front suspension, new wiring harness and metal repair.
